The four Abdullah, Hamdani, Samsul Bahri, and Hasan Basri, charged with trying to smuggle the drug into Indonesia were nabbed by the National Anti Drug Agency (BNN) in February this year.
The sentence was as demanded by the public prosecutor in earlier session.
The public prosecutor said law officers, receiving a tip, picked up the drug from a ship in the Malacca strait on the way to Indonesia.
The four, who were law fugitives escaping from a BNN detention center in Jakarta , were picked up later from different places .
Earlier this month the West Jakarta district court meted out death sentence to two men for drug trafficking.
Iwan Setiawan and Ti8ka were found to be in possession of 540 kilograms of mariju8ana brought to Jakarta from Aceh.(*)
