Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named regent of Subang Ojang Sohandi as a suspect in a graft case.

Ojang was charged with bribing two prosecutors of the West Java High Prosecution office Deviyanti Rochaeni and Fahri Nurmallo, who were arrested on Monday.

After 24 hour interrogations, KPK named five suspects including Ojang, Lenih Marliani and Jajang Abdul Kholik as the bribers, and the two prosecutors as the recipients of the bribe money, KPK chairman Agus Rahardjo told reporters here on Tuesday.

The three were arrested in a caught red handed operation (OTT) at the high prosecution office on Monday .

The graft case was related to alleged corruption of money belonging to public health insurance service BPJS in 2014.

Jajang Abdul Kholik was former official of the Subang health service and Lenih Marliani is his wife.

Jajang and former head of the Subang district health service Budi Santoso are indicted of embezzling Rp4.7 billion of BPJS fund in 2014.

The public prosecutors of the West Java High Prosecution office demanded only two years respectively for Jajang and Budi.

Ojang was allegedly bribing the two prosecutors Rp528 million that they demand light sentence for Jajang and to save Ojang from being implicated in the case.
