Indonesia believes that the future of the nation is in the sea, he said during a meeting attended, among others, by Vice President M Jusuf Kalla.
Also present during the discussion was the Research, Technology and Higher Education Minister M Nasir, Industry Minister Saleh Husin, National Development Planning Minister Sofyan Djalil, Manpower Minister Hanif Dhakiri, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Sudirman Said, Finance Minister Bambang Brodjonegoro, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Minister Susi Pudjiastuti, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution, Transportation Minister Ignasius Jonan, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Rizal Ramli, Coordinating Minister for Political Legal and Security Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Coordinating Minister for Human And Cultural Development Puan Maharani and Trade Minister Thomas Lembong.
The first part of the meeting began at 1 p.m. and discussed maritime development policies, and the second part started at 2 p.m., which was on the maritime and fishery industrys development.(*)
