The bus heading to Cibodas botanical garden, suddenly ran out of control because of a brake malfunction while going down on the road, Yudi, an eyewitness, said here, Sunday.
The bus hit several vehicles in front of it as well as other vehicles, including two minibuses and motorcycles, coming from the opposite direction.
"After the accident, several police and military officers rushed to help the victims. I saw at least 10 people dead on the spot, apart from those inside the two minibuses and the bus having the brake failure," he said.
Officers tried to evacuate victims being trapped in the vehicles involved in the accident. (*)
