Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Joko Widodo arrived home here on Monday evening after his state visits to the Philippines and Hong Kong in the past four days.

The presidential aircraft Indonesia-1, that carried the President and First Lady Iriana, landed at the Jakartas air force base Halim Perdanakusuma at 6.15pm, according to the head of press, media and information bureau of the state secretariat, Bay Machmudin.

While in the Philippines, Widodo attended the 39th ASEAN Summit and inaugurated the Davos-Bitung Ro-Ro service.

In Hong Kong, he met thousands of Indonesian citizens living in Hong Kong.

He had also met Hong Kong Chief Executive Chun-Ying Leung and visited the Madame Tussauds museum and Buddhist community.

Widodo and Iriana were companied by cabinet secretary Pramono Anung, chief of presidential secretariat Darmansyah Djumala, presidential military secretary Rear Admiral Trisno Hendradi, chief of presidential security guard Brigadier General Suhartono, private secretary Anggit Noegroho, special staff Ari Dwioayana, and head of protocol Ari Setiawan.

They were welcomed on arrival by coordinating minister for political, security and legal affairs Wiranto, minister/state secretary Pratikno, environment and forestry minister Siti Nurbaya, state enterprises minister Rini Soemarno, presidential chief staff Teten Masduki, military (TNI) commander General Gatot Nurmantyo, Indonesia Police chief General Tito Karnavian, and Jakarta governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama.(*)
