"The dead victim is identified as 49-year-old Feno Leiwakabessy, while her husband Nus Tapilatu is injured and has been taken to the Tantui Bhayangkara Police Hospital," John Hursepuny, a spokesman of the Muluku Police, noted here, Friday.
The landslide was triggered by incessant heavy rains that had fallen in Ambon over the last three days.
Hursepuny has advised the local inhabitants living on the slopes of hilly areas and near riverbanks to remain vigilant of possible landslides or floods.(*)
