"I am very delighted to meet you again. We have many similarities, and we will implement the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement by the end of this year," Turnbull said, in a video uploaded through his account in the Twitter social media monitored by Antara, on Friday on the sidelines of G-20 summit in Germany.
The meeting between the two leaders lasted cordially.
At the meeting, Jokowi expressed Indonesias wish to implement the CEPA soon.
"We hope we can implement the Indonesia-Australia CEPA by the end of this year," he stated.
Turnbull, who received a positive response from Jokowi with regard to the IA-CEPA, warmly welcomed the Indonesian governments wish and hoped relations between the two countries would become closer.
"That is extraordinary. Relations between the two countries are getting better and closer. We are very pleased to be able to cooperate with you and hope to meet again in a mutually constructive discussion," Turnbull remarked.
In response, Jokowi also expressed Indonesias wish to forge its bilateral cooperation and relations with Australia.
