Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is set to question Secretary General of the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) EF Hamidy as a witness in the case against State Audit Board (BPK) officials accused of accepting bribes.

"He will be questioned as a witness in the case against Ali Sadli (ALS)," KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said here on Thursday, referring to the BPK official.

The KPK will also question two other witnesses in the same case. They are Eni Lutfiah, a housewife; and Ihkam Aufar, a student, he stated.

The anti-graft body has extended the arrest of three suspects in the case, including ALS accused of accepting a bribe in exchange for unqualified opinion for the Villages, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration Ministrys financial report in 2016.

"The arrest of suspect ALS and Rochmadi Saptogiri (RSG) has been extended to another 30 days from July 26, 2017 to Aug 24, 2017," Chief of the KPK Information and Publication Section Priharsa Nugraha said at the KPK building on Tuesday.

ALS is chief of the BPKs III B.2 Sub-audit section, while RSG is the chief auditor of state finance III at the BPK.

The two have been accused of taking a bribe in the case, while former inspector general of the ministry Sugito and former chief of the ministers administrative and financial section Jarot Budi Prabowo (JBP) have been accused of bribing the BPK officials. The two former officials of the ministry will soon stand trial.

The KPK has named Sugito and RSG as suspects in the case. (*)
