... Karma Beach, Thomas Beach, Nyang-nyang, Bias Tugel Beach, Kedungu, and Nusa Penida...Denpasar, Bali (ANTARA News) - The CNN media from the United States has introduced six beautiful hidden beaches in Bali through news broadcast on tourism edition network.
"This can be used to stimulate Bali promotion," Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Travel Agency (Asita) of Bali, Ketut Ardana, said here on Thursday.
Six beaches revealed by CNN in the CNN Travel channel are Karma Beach, Thomas Beach, Nyang-nyang, Bias Tugel Beach, Kedungu, and Nusa Penida.
The news broadcast on Wednesday (May 23) also features a panoramic view of the beach with white sand and turquoise blue waters complete with green hills around the beaches.
Karma Beach is located in Ungasan, South Kuta, Badung District, with panoramic sea facing the Indian Ocean directly.
Domestic and foreign tourists are not really familiar with Thomas Beach located in Uluwatu, Pecatu near Padang-Padang beach, where the shooting of Hollywood film of Eat, Pray and Love was taken.
Nyang-nyang Beach is also located in Pecatu, giving the feel of a private beach that has not been much explored by tourists.
Another recommended beach of CNN Travel to visit is Bias Tugel Beach, which is located around Padangbai area, Karangasem district, with clean white sand and is suitable for snorkeling water tourism location.
CNN Travel not only reveals white sand beaches but also beaches with black sand in Kedungu Beach in Kediri, Tabanan District, located near Tanah Lot Temple tourist attraction.
The sixth beach revealed by the media based in Atlanta, the United States, is Nusa Penida Beach in Klungkung District, with panoramic landscape of green hills and white sand.
Visitors must cross Sanur Denpasar to the Nusa Penida Island, at a distance of about 40 minutes, using a speedboat to reach this beach.
In addition to Nusa Penida, there are also Uug Beach or "Broken Bay" and "Angels Billabong" and Kelingking Beach, which currently gain popularity among tourists.
