"We are preparing nine terminals to handle an increase in the number of passengers," Head of Dishub of Jakarta Andri Yansyah stated here on Thursday (June 7).
According to Yansyah, of the nine prepared terminals, Kalideres Terminal, Kampung Rambutan Terminal, Tanjung Priok Terminal, and Pulo Gebang Terminal are the main terminals.
"Pinang Ranti Terminal, Grogol Terminal, Rawamangun Terminal, Lebak Bulus Terminal, and Muara Angke Terminal -- the five others -- are assistance bus terminals," he conveyed.
Before the operation, the office will check the bus pass through the vehicle feasibility test. In addition, it will check the completeness of health equipment in the bus, especially the first-aid box.
"Stickers will be placed on buses that have cleared the road susceptibility test. We urge travelers to depart from the nine terminals we provide," he emphasized.
Furthermore, Yansyah revealed that before departing, all bus crew members are obligated to undergo a medical examination and urine test at the health post provided by the Health Agency of Jakarta and Provincial Narcotics Board.
"If a driver is found to be unhealthy, he will be advised to take rest, while the driver who tests positive for drugs will be taken to the police," he explained.
