Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian Asian Games Organizing Committee (Inasgoc) has stated that the spectators of the international sport event would require identity card to buy tickets, as part of security measures for the event.

"The would-be spectators would have to show their identity card to buy tickets," President Director of KiosTix, Ade Sulistio Putra, a partner in Asian Games ticket selling, told the press here on Monday.

Putra noted that the use of ID cards, including driver license, is part of security measures in all venues, including the opening and closing ceremony.

"We will guide the spectators on how to buy the tickets safely and easily," he added.

According to Putra, one identity card could be used to buy four Asian Games tickets.

"We will allocate 20 percent of the tickets to be sold directly in the venue. Ticket price for foreigners would be 20 percent higher than those for local spectators," Putra noted, adding that the price of online and offline tickets would be the same.

Previously, Inasgoc ticketing director Sarman Simanjorang revealed that KiosTix was involved in ticket sale because of its advanced technology in online ticket selling, better selling network in both local and international markets, and the company`s good performance.

Inasgoc would start Asian Games ticket sale on June 30 through its official website, KiosTix network, Asian Games` sponsor franchise, and souvenir kiosks in Jakarta and Palembang.

A representative of Inasgoc deputy for security, Brig. Gen Adnas, revealed that the use of identity card in ticket sale would improve security for spectators.

"We will have a simulation on security measures when spectators are about to enter the Asian Games venues," Adnas pointed out.
