The two goals for Indonesia were scored by Amiruddin Bagus in 7th minute and 26th minute, while Myanmar`s only goal was scored by Win Thein in 72nd minute.
In the first five minutes of the first half, both teams showed hard attacks. Later, in 7th minute, Amiruddin Bagus, after successfully escaping from Myanmar "custody," released a kick and scored 1-0 for Indonesia?s victory.
In the 15th minute, Myanmar had a chance to score after a counterattack, but Min Htwe`s kick was caught by Indonesian goalkeeper Ernando Ari Sutryadi. The score remained 1-0 for Indonesia.
In the 26th minute, Bagus netted the second goal after a counterattack. And the score became 2-0 for Indonesia until the first half ended.
In the second half, Indonesian national team coach Fachri Husaini pulled out Muhammad Fajar Fathur Rachman and replaced him with Amanat Abdillah.
The hard game was shown by both teams, until referee Amdillah Zainuddin from Brunei Darussalam issued yellow cards to Indonesian player Andre Oktaviansyah (54`) and Myanmar players Nyan Lin (65`) and Zaw Win Thein (55`).
In the 71st minute, Indonesia got a penalty kick after goalkeeper Ernando was alleged by the referee to have committed a violation to Myanmar in the penalty box.
The execution of the penalty kick was carried out by Zaw Win Thein in 72nd minute, bringing the score to 2-1 for Indonesia.
Myanmar coach Nyi Nyi Latt admitted that there were some shortcomings in the game, including several chances to create a goal, but the kick still hit the crossbar.
"I would like to thank the players this time. Despite many shortcomings, Indonesia could finally win," he added.
