Mataram, W. Nusa Tenggara (ANTARA News) - Rescue workers have found a family of five killed under the ruins of a building following Sunday evening`s earthquake in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara on Sunday evening.

The SAR found Alimun, Reni, Elsa, Linda, and Fauzan buried under the ruins of their house on Monday in Tembobor in the district of North Lombok.

The local disaster mitigation office (BPBD) said at least 82 people were killed by the quake with a magnitude of 7 on the Richter scale rocking the province until early Monday

Sunday`s quake was the second major quake hitting Lombok after one with a magnitude of 6.4 on the Richter scale last week jolted the island leaving a number of people dead.

The hardest hit was North Lombok where 65 people reported killed. West Lombok reported 9 people killed, Central Lombok 2 people, East Lombok 2 people, and the city of Mataram 4 people.

No figure yet was given for injured victims.

Bali, which was just west of Lombok, was also jolted by the quake but there was no report of casualty from the world famous tourist island.
