Palembang, S Sumatra, (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian women`s beach volleyball team reaped positive results by recording a victory to make Hong Kong bend in two sets at the 2018 Asian Games at the Jakabaring Sport City Palembang Arena on Sunday.

Indonesian women`s beach volleyball team Dhita Juliana and Putu Dini Jasita Utami successfully defeated Hong Kong women`s team Yuen Mei Wong and Tin Lai NG in the 2018 Asian Games beach volley preliminary round.

The Indonesian women`s beach volleyball team won in the first set which was reinforced by Dhita Juliana and Putu Dini Jasita Utami by gaining points 21 while Hong Kong 11.

Likewise in the second set, the Indonesian women`s team was able to finish the game with a score of 21 and Hong Kong had to settle for the number 9.

The Indonesian princess beach volleyball team continues to give a hard smash and the last Dhita smash finishes the first set with 21:11.

Then the hard smiles from the Indonesian women`s beach volleyball team gave the first number in the second set.

The Indonesian women`s beach volleyball team had fallen in order to save the ball and finally succeeded in completing the game with a score of 21: 9 in the second set.

While Dhita Juliana conveyed, this was the first match and had tried to the maximum even though at the beginning it was a bit unsettling, because it was the first time to play at the Asian Games.

"In the second set, we were more confident in playing. Tomorrow we met the Vietnamese team, and had also met Vietnam, he said.

He stated that the team of Kazakhstan and Thailand needed to be anticipated.

"To target a bronze medal center, but we are personally a gold medal," he said.

The victory of Dhita Juliana and Putu Dini Jasita Utami also complements the Indonesian team`s victory in the preliminary round of the 2018 Asian Games beach volleyball match at the Palembang JSC Arena.
