Jakarta (ANTARA News) - South Korea defeated Hong Kong in the elimination match of pool A men`s hockey with a landslide score of 11-0 at the Gelora Bung Karno Complex Hoki Square here on Monday.

In the 4 x 15 match, the South Korean team dominated the game, and its dominance in this match began in the early minutes of the first quarter. Korea`s opening goal was scored by Jeong Junwoo.

In the meantime, South Korea also managed to add to the goal in the 12th minute through Jang Jonghyun.

In the second quarter, South Korea added three goals to change their position to 5-0 through Seo Inwoo (19 `), Jang Jonghyun (20`), and Jeong Junwoo (25 `).

South Korea`s dominance continued until the third and fourth quarters. This could be seen from the South Korean attack, which continued to be launched into the heart of Hong Kong`s defense.

Six goals were successfully scored by the South Korean team through Jang Jonghyun (2 goals), Jeong Junwoo (1 goal), Kim Seongkyu (1 goal), Yang Jihun (1 goal), and Kim Junghoo (1 goal).
