"Starting from October 6 to 11, there are 14 additional flights each day," President Director of Garuda Indonesia Pahala N Mansury said here on Monday.
Thus, Mansury noted, there would be 27,000 seats to anticipate the presence of 21,000 participants.
In addition, Garuda Indonesia will change 12 routes to facilitate flights to Bali.
"For example, the routes from Incheon Korea to Jakarta, Haneda-Jakarta and others," he said.
Indonesia has been selected to host the 2018 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank in Bali.
The IMF-WB Annual Meetings will be organized in Nusa Dua, in the southernmost area of Bali, which is an approximately 30-minute drive from the Ngurah Rai International Airport, from October 8 to 14, 2018.
Facilities to support the meetings include 21 hotels, with over four thousand rooms for official delegates, 89 meeting rooms, some six thousand office rooms, and 55 business centers.
