The head of state and First Lady Iriana were greeted by TNI Chief Marshal Hadi Thajanto, Chief of Staff of the Navy Admiral Siwi Sukma Adji, and Chief of Staff of the Air Force Marshal Yuyu Sutisna.
This year`s anniversary is themed "TNI Professionalism for the People."
President Jokowi was the inspector of the ceremony, while Col. Yoyon Kuscahyono acted as commander of the ceremony.
The president also presented honorary awards to several military officers during the ceremony.
A total of 1,673 military personnel participated in a parade organized to enliven the ceremony.
