Nusa Dua, Bali (ANTARA News) - Visitors of the Indonesian Pavilion exhibition in Nusa Dua, Bali, had the chance to experience the freshness of Indonesian tea that comes in various flavors.

"Tea is usually brewed from tea bags, which have artificial flavors and added sugar. Our brand focuses on the composition of the tea mixture, which results in variations in their unique and prominent flavors," Assistant Product Manager of Sila, Atika Puteri, stated at the Indonesian Pavilion here on Monday.

During the display at the Indonesian Pavilion, Sila served three varieties of tea concoctions, including the Levare Black Tea, consisting of black tea and cinnamon; Silver Needle, which is white tea; and Fres`O Green Tea, which is a combination of green tea, lemon, and mint.

"Each tea variant creates different effects. The Levare Black Tea provides a soothing and relaxing effect; the Silver Needle lifts the mood, and the Fres`O Green Tea is invigorating," she noted.

The name `Sila` is derived from `Pancasila,` which is Indonesia`s five-fundamental ideology. The brand also adopts the values of the Pancasila, she added.

"Sila wishes to unite the people in harmony and, at the same time, bring happiness to those around the brand`s chain, including the farmers, distributors, packing staff, and consumers, enabling them to get more value from the brand," she remarked.

On the first day of the Indonesian Pavilion soft launch, the Sila booth was less crowded. But visitors who had tried the beverage admitted that the taste of the tea was rather different from other tea varieties.

"The flavor is fresh and not too strong. Although there is no added sugar in the tea, I still enjoyed the flavor of the black tea. Usually, I add a lot of sugar to the tea," Michael, who is a visitor from Jakarta, revealed.

Meanwhile, other flavor variants include white rose tea and dried French rose.

"French rose is known for its health benefits, including fighting stress and insomnia. It also can fight toxins in the blood and enliven senses," she reiterated.

Sila Artisan Tea from Sila Tea House was established in February 2018 in Bogor, West Java. There are 12 variants of artisan tea formulated in Sila Tea House. Although they are yet to tap the export market, a number of consumers have taken their products abroad.
