""This National Work Meeting is an event to show appreciation to the winners of the rural village and urban village competitions. They are expected to be able to transfer innovation to other villages throughout the country," Head of the Bali Province Community and Village Empowerment Service Ketut Lihadnyana said in Denpasar on Tuesday.
The activity, which will be attended by around 15 thousand participants from all over Indonesia from October 19-21, is a combination of the activities of the Ministry of Home Affairs with the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration.
"The Appropriate Technology use (TTG) activity is an arena for disseminating information over various technologies that can provide added value to the community," he said.
The event will also serve as a forum to enrich ideas and thoughts in preparation for the policy of implementing and developing the TTG in an effort to empower the community now and in the future.
Lihadnyana added that the purpose of the National Work and Innovation Week Meeting on Village and Village Development was to build the spirit of competition between rural and urban villages in each region, and increase the knowledge and insights of the public about the development and progress of government administration.
In addition, this activity is also expected to be able to encourage innovation in improving the quality of services to the community.
The series of events will be filled with marches involving participants/contingents from provinces throughout Indonesia. In addition, a village/kelurahan innovation exhibition of appropriate technology was also held.
The exhibition was held from October 19-21, 2018, in the area of the GWK Regional Park Festival. At the national work meeting, the PMD Coordination Meeting was held.
