Nusa Dua, Bali, Oct 30 (ANTARA News) - Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, ended the 2018 Our Ocean Conference (OOC) in Bali, on Tuesday, with a speech bearing the theme `collaboration.`

He explained that there are no countries or organizations in the world that would sustain the test of time without collaboration with other parties.

For that reason, he reminded the audience about the importance of collaboration between countries to maintain and preserve marine wealth.

Pandjaitan also explained that the collaboration between the financial sector and the maritime sector would make marine wealth grow optimally without damaging the environment.

"If land is the King, then sea is the queen," he noted, highlighting the importance of the marine sector.

He also hoped for the OOC 2018, held in Bali, can result in the synergy between nations in maintaining the sustainability of marine wealth.

Additionally, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti also closed the series of events by submitting miniature Pinisi ship to Norwegian representative, as the sixth OOC in 2019 will be held in Norway.
