Jakarta, Jan 10 (ANTARA News) - Presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto said that a coalition in presidential election would need intensive talks as what he and his pair Sandiaga Uno did when they visited the Democrat Party Chairman Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

"The coalition would need to talk intensively," Subianto stated after the meeting at Yudhoyono`s (SBY) residence here on Thursday.

Subianto noted that the meeting was aimed at seeking inputs from the former president.

Secretary General of the Gerindra Party, Ahmad Muzani remarked that the Subianto-Uno pair`s meeting with SBY has discussed vision and mission of the candidate. The pair has also sought suggestions from SBY, who had won the presidential race in 2004 and 2009.

"SBY won the election in 2004 and 2009. That is why this is important for Subianto-Uno pair," Muzani remarked.

Muzani, who is also the deputy chief of Subianto-Uno success team revealed that during the meeting, the former president has suggested the pair to be in fit condition and use the event of presidential debate to win people over.

"How can we win the sympathy and people`s votes, because at the end, the voters are not only those in the venue (of presidential debate) but also the entire people of Indonesia," he noted.

Also present at the meeting were Secretary General of Democrat Party Hinca Pandjaitan, Deputy Chairman of Gerindra Party Sugiono, and a director of Prabowo-Sandiaga pair`s National Winning Team (BPN) Sudirman Said.
