Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia's badminton teams of men's doubles pair Muhammad Shohibul Fikri-Bagas Maulana and mixed pair Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto-Lisa Ayu Kusumawati emerged the champions in the Finnish International Challenge 2019, Sunday.

Kusharjanto and Kusumawati beat Danish pair Mathias Bay and Smidt Rikke Soby, who had taken the Swiss Open 2019 title, with a score 22-20, 15-21, and 21-14, in the final.

Indonesia's new mixed team’s participation in the Finnish International Challenge 2019 was its third event after taking part in the Orleans Masters 2019 Super 100 and Polish International Challenge 2019.

Fikri and Maulana won over Germany's men's doubles pair Jones Ralfy Jansen and Peter Kaesbauer in the final, clocking a score of 21-17 and 21-17.

Another Indonesian team of women's doubles players Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma and Ribka Sugiarto emerged the runner-up after tasting defeat against Japanese pair Erina Honda-Nozomi Shimizu, with a score of 15-21 and 14-21.
