Semarang, C Java (ANTARA) - The State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Ministry managed to break the Indonesian World Record Museum (MURI) record in three categories during a thanksgiving event to mark the ministry's 21st Anniversary celebration in Semarang City, Central Java, Saturday.

The SOE ministry was awarded the three-record MURI certificate for the tallest yellow rice dish of 6x6 meters and 4.13 meters high, amounting to 5,821 servings, the biggest replica of Borobudur Temple.

Along with breaking the MURI record, the ministry also recorded maximum transactions, reaching 35 thousand, through the "Quick Response Code" in below five hours. The earlier target was set for 30 thousand transactions within a five-hour period.

MURI representatives presented the award certificate for the three records to SOE Minister Rini Soemarno on stage that was borne witness by several thousand people thronging Semarang's Grand Marina area.

Several thousand people from different SOEs were present at the SOE Ministry's anniversary summit this year themed "One Family, One Nation, One Vision To Excellence."

Board of directors of the SOE Ministry and representatives of 143 companies under the SOE ministry's management in varied fields were present at the event.

PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX, Telkom, Perusahaan Gas Negara, Wijaya Karya, Pertamina, and PLN were among several firms participating to enliven the peak event of the SOE Ministry's Anniversary event.
