Thousand Donggala residents ready to make Jokowi-Ma'ruf victorious

Donggala, Sulawesi Tengah (ANTARA) - Several thousand residents of Donggala, Central Sulawesi, attending the open campaign rally of National Democratic Party (NasDem) in Kabonga Village field, Friday, expressed willingness to make the Joko Widodo (Jokowi)-KH Ma'ruf Amin pair victorious.

The statement of unequivocal support was made by the public, sympathizers, and cadres of the NasDem Party from 15 sub-districts, after responding to questions fielded by the orator, who was also general treasurer of DPD NasDem Ahmad M. Ali and Chairman of DPD NasDem Donggala Kasman Lassa.

"Let us stand on the frontlines on April 17 to ensure that Jokowi-Ma'ruf is our choice," Ali affirmed in his speech on Friday.

This request received a warm, overwhelming response from several thousand people, sympathizers, and cadres attending the NasDem campaign.

While addressing the public, Ali noted that the two forerunners in the 2019 Election democratic party were pair number 01 Jokowi and Amin and pair number 02 Prabowo Subianto and Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno.

Ali called on Donggala District's residents to utilize the valuable opportunity offered by the 2019 Election to choose a leader, who will take the nation forward and elect representatives or legislative candidates, who will work in favor of the masses.

"We must tap into the opportunity presented by this election to appoint people, who will fight for our cause," the NasDem Faction chairman in the DPR-RI emphasized.

The NasDem Party campaign in Donggala is aimed at portraying the self-image, vision, and programs implemented by Jokowi and Amin, with Ali further highlighting Surya Paloh's self-image, vision, and party program.

Ali reiterated that NasDem is a political party that has maintained its steadfast commitment to nationality, diversity, and pro-people policies.

Apart from Ali, the wife of Hj Nilam Sari Lawira as well as numerous functionaries from the Central Java Regional Representative Council were present at the campaign in Donggala.

The campaign kicked off at around 3:30 p.m. local time and concluded at 5:30 p.m. local time, followed by around 5,000 people. EDITED BY INE
