Jakarta (ANTARA) - As voting came to a close on Wednesday, Presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto urged his supporters to guard the ballot boxes. "Stay focused and guard the ballot boxes because they are our keys to fight against lies," Prabowo said.

He claimed that the results of the exit poll and quick count conducted by his team indicated that victory would belong to the Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno pair.

He accused some polling institutes of being paid to lead public opinion.

Prabowo also reminded his supporters to stay calm and not act against the law. "Everybody should be calm; [do] not [be] easily provoked and avoid anarchy," he said.

On Wednesday, Indonesia voted in one of the world's largest one-day elections.

More than 192 million people were eligible to cast their ballots to select the president, as well as local and national lawmakers.
