"The arsenal of weapons is on fire as well," First Inspector H. Dahlan, Head of the South Lampung Police Public Relations Sub-Section, said when contacted in South Lampung on Thursday night.
Dahlan explained that weapons and ammunition were stored inside the arsenal..
"In the warehouse, there are weapons, bullets, tear gas bullets, and live ammunition," he added.
Even though the armory building was on fire, the ammunition that had burned so far, according to him, was still safe.
"Everything is on fire. However, because the arsenal of weapons is secured, everything is still in the warehouse and is safe," he said.
