KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah told Antara here on Monday that based upon available data, only 12 local governments had submitted the imposition of sanctions.
"This was carried out as a follow-up to the joint decree of the Minister of Home Affairs, the Minister of Administrative Reforms and Bureaucratic Reforms, and Head of the National Civil Service Agency (BKN)," he said.
Previously, the Assistant for General Affairs of the Regional Secretariat of Papua, Elysa Auri, said that the Papua Provincial government claimed 10 state civil servants in the local area were involved in corruption cases and would be dealt with immediately.
"In Papua, 146 state civil servants have been involved in corruption cases and 10 of them are listed as employees at the provincial level," she said.
According to Elysa, 10 of these employees were under the authority of the Governor of Papua as personnel promotion officials who carried out the processes and mechanisms according to regulations.
"We have prepared the required files, just sign," she said.
The Head of the Regional Civil Service Agency (BKN) of the Papua Civil Service Agency, Paulus Dwi Laksono, said that out of 146 state civil servants in his region involved in corruption cases, only 29 were officially dismissed and one was set free.
