"We will arrange the flow of visitors so there will be no overcrowding of people who would like to pay final respect to the late first lady Ani Yudhoyono at the mourning home," West Java Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Rudy Sufahriadi said here on Sunday.
Sufahriadi stated that the security will not only be carried out around the mourning home, but also at several other roads that become the path of the mourners to go to the mourning home and the roads from the home to the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery in South Jakarta.
"We will facilitate mourners by securing their ways to go to the mourning home and to the cemetery . This is a form of final respect from all members of the National Police to the late first lady Mrs. Ani Yudhoyono," he said.
The body of Indonesia's First Lady from 2004-2014 Kristiani Herrawati or Ani Yudhoyono is laid to rest in the Cikeas Hall for a while at 08:00 a.m. in order to provide an opportunity for the people who would pay their final respects to the first lady.
Then at 12:00 a.m., the funeral procession will be continued with Dzuhur prayer and the congregation prayer for the late first lady at Cikeas Hall.
After the funeral ceremony, the body of late first lady Ani Yudhoyono will be departed to the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery in South Jakarta.
Ani Yudhoyono's body arrived at the mourning home in Cikeas, Bogor district on Saturday night (June 1, 2019) at 11:08 p.m. The convoy bringing Ani Yudhoyono's body arrived at the mourning home a few minutes after President Joko Widodo's motorcade arrived at the home at 10:52 p.m. local time.
The return of Ani Yudhoyono's body to Cikeas, Bogor was expedited from the original schedule of returning from Singapore on Sunday morning.
Kristiani Herawati, a daughter of Sarwo Edhie Wibowo (an Indonesian military leader) died at 11.50 local time at Singapore's National University Hospital (NUH) on Saturday.
Ani Yudhoyono suffered from blood cancer and was being treated at NUH.
