Bengkalis, Riau (ANTARA) - A housewife in Bengkalis District, Riau, has found 30 thousand ecstasy pills worth some Rp6 billion in a suitcase in her backyard Tuesday at around 9.00 a.m. local time. "Yes true, a housewife found a suitcase in her backyard, packed with 30 thousand ecstasy pills," commander of the Bengkalis district military Lt. Col Timmy Prasetya Harmianto confirmed here Tuesday.

The woman found the suitcase when she was raking up and burning the garbage near the chicken barn in her backyard.

"She was surprised to see a brown suitcase near the chicken barn and reported the finding to the nearest security post," Harmianto said.

The security personnel found the ecstasy pills in three packs bearing a writing KESSA. There was one pack with blue pills of Lagui brand, and two other packs with yellow pills of Minion brand.

"The ecstasy pills are worth at least Rp6 billion," he added.

The drugs were handed over to the Bengkalis police for further investigation.
