"The RPH is completed, and the MK is ready to give its ruling tomorrow (Thursday)," Soeroso remarked here on Wednesday.
The MK has organized some internal meetings as a preparatory measure before it would read out the ruling.
"The MK chief, deputy chief, and judges have briefed the registrar, the Court's secretary general, and the task force team," he revealed.
The MK was earlier scheduled to deliver its ruling on the dispute on June 28. However, on the basis of the result of the consultative meeting on Monday (June 24), the constitutional judges had reached an agreeement to announce the ruling on Thursday at 12:30 local time.
"In connection with the reason behind us choosing June 27 is since it is the judicial panel that can decide on whether they are ready to read the verdict on that day. If they are ready, why should we wait for June 28," he emphasized.
The MK has sent a notification through email on the issue to all concerned parties on Monday.
Soeroso remarked that all parties have confirmed their attendance in the court on Thursday.
The MK could not declare its verdict without giving a notification to the concerned camps, at least three days before the announcement.
The related camps are the National Success Team (BPN) for the Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno pair, the national Campaign Team of Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin, the General Election Commission (KPU), and the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu).
The camp of the losing rival pair of Subianto-Uno challenged the KPU's announcement of the election result in the MK.
The pair leveled accusations of the commission having "systematically, structurally, and massively" manipulated the election and increased the incumbent's tally – which stood at 85 million votes against Subianto's 68 million votes – by some 22 million votes. EDITED BY INE
