Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (ANTARA) - Indonesia's Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT) will investigate an emergency landing made by a PT Carpediem Air-owned helicopter B206L4 in Kawo Village, Pujut Sub-district, Central Lombok District, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province.

"To unearth the reason behind the emergency landing, we have to wait for the KNKT to start investigation. The committee will arrive in Lombok tomorrow morning," Nugroho Jati, general manager of the Lombok International Airport, stated here on Sunday.

The helicopter, piloted by Captain Kustiada from Indonesia and carrying three foreigners, was flying from Lombok to Labuan Bajo in West Manggarai District, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), on Sunday. The foreign passengers are Luka Marie from Germany, Nicholas from the United Kingdom, and Donoso from Chile.

The pilot and three foreigners are safe but in a state of shock, for which they had to be treated at the Praya Hospital in Central Lombok.
