Why Slovakia? Because both of them (East Java and Slovakia) have similarities, especially those in the industrial center which is focusing on the industrial revolution 4.0
Surabaya, E Java (ANTARA) - The East Java Provincial Government wants to cooperate with the Slovak Government with regard to the preparation of human resources to tackle the changes in the industrial revolution.

"Why Slovakia? Because both of them (East Java and Slovakia) have similarities, especially those in the industrial center which is focusing on the industrial revolution 4.0," East Java's Vice Governor Emil Elestianto Dardak told reporters here Wednesday.

In addition, East Java and Slovakia have industrial centers as the former represents Indonesia and the latter is for the European region, he said.

In this context, he even held discussions with the Ambassador of Slovakia to Indonesia, Jaroslav Chlebo, who visited the East Java provincial capital of Surabaya on Tuesday, July 30, the East Java vice governor pointed out.

The issue of labor wages and the efforts to improve labor welfare and sharpen the business competitive edge is also in focus, according to Dardak.

"These things are expected so as to exchange ideas that could lead to a solution," he said.

Based on these similarities, cooperation between East Java and Slovakia could continue to develop and pave the way for the former to enter Europe, he hoped.

"Everything will be built in stages, considering cooperation with Slovakia can pave the way for cooperation with other countries," Dardak said.

Apart from the industrial sector, Slovakia is also focusing on the development of information and technology.

"In the future, we will continue to communicate and hopefully bring good news to the friendship between the two countries," Dardak said in conclusion.
