The student, suffering from internal bleeding, is undergoing treatment at the Pelni hospital.
"I just received the news from my juniors in the Pemuda Pancasila Student Union that someone was injured in the rally. I was keen to visit and see how serious his injuries are," Soesatyo noted at the Pelni hospital in Jakarta, Wednesday.
In the company of Pemuda Pancasila members, wearing orange and black clothing, Soesatyo expressed optimism that the students would exercise self-restraint.
The House speaker further expressed hope that the authorities would also hold back and act wiser in handling students rallying in front of the House of Representatives, as they are merely echoing their aspirations.

He further requested for the students to not give in to provocations and be wary of those, with vested interests, attempting to turn the rally into anarchist acts.
"As citizens, we can convey our aspirations, and I am always ready to receive them in the House, but do not bring anarchy into it and do not get provoked by irresponsible parties," he cautioned.
A student, identified as Faisal Amri, was earlier rushed to Pelni hospital on Tuesday night after being found unconscious near the House of Representatives. He was brought in by his friends and some construction workers around the area.
The hospital's director, Dr Dewi Fankhuningdyah, confirmed that his condition had begun to show signs of improvement following the surgery, though his condition is yet to fully stabilize.
"The last reported condition of the patient was quite good, and progress was satisfactory, though he was yet in an unstable condition. The patient still requires supervision in the ICU," she added.
