Jakarta (ANTARA) - The People's Consultative Assembly (MPR)., the House of Representatives (DPR), and the Regional Representatives Council (DPD) are to organize inauguration for their members for the 2019-2024 period at the Parliament Building on Tuesday at 10 a.m. local time.

The inauguration and swearing in ceremony of DPR members will be led by the oldest and the youngest MPs, Abdul Wahab Dalimunthe from the Democratic Party (PD) and Hillary Brigitta Lasut from the National Democratic Party (Nasdem), acting as temporary chairmen.

The swearing in ceremony of DPD members will be led by oldest and youngest members, respectively Sabam Sirait from Jakarta and Jialyka Maharani from South Sumatra acting as temporary DPD chairmen.

Members of the MPR will be also be sworn in by its temporary chairmen.

The swearing in process will be guided by the Chairman of the Supreme Court (MA), Prof Dr M Hatta Ali.

The ceremony is expected to be attended by President Joko Widodo, Vice President M Jusuf Kalla, and Chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU) Arief Budiman.
