Pakistan believed human resources constituted one of the largest assets for a country and deemed worthy of receiving decent education and training, he remarked at a special interview with Antara on Friday.
"Prime Minister Imran Khan received many votes from the younger generation in Pakistan. He is focusing on creating several programs targeting youths. One of the most important things is vocational education," he stated.
He affirmed that the World Bank had projected Indonesia and Pakistan to experience a demographic bonus in 2030.
The ambassador also expressed his intent to deepen cooperation with Indonesia in the educational field as part of the efforts to strengthen the human resources of both nations.
He remarked that the Pakistani government is offering several scholarships to Indonesian students to pursue higher education in his country in the fields of pharmacy and dental services.
"The education center in Karachi, for instance, has offered scholarships for Indonesian scientists, and I hope the cooperation would increase in future,” he stated.
