Seven of the 94 suspects are processed in East Kalimantan Province over security concerns, he stated.

"The seven suspects are moved to East Kalimantan for security reasons,” he stated.

The number of suspects handled by the Jayawijaya police resort also increased to 14 after the police arrested two suspects, with one of them placed on the police's wanted list.

Kamal confirmed that the security situation in Wamena has increasingly become conducive. Normalcy had gradually been restored in schooling and public activities, among others, of the local residents, and those, who fled to the mountainous area, had begun returning back to Wamena, Kamal added.
