Jakarta (ANTARA) - Sri Mulyani Indrawati (Sri Mulyani) spoke of President Jokowi’s request to her to continue holding her current finance minister’s position for the second term of his administration during the 2019-2024 period.

"President Jokowi asked and assigned me to remain in the position of finance minister," Sri Mulyani stated after talks with the head of state at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Tuesday that lasted an hour and a half.

Sri Mulyani said that the offer she accepted was "an honor to perform for one more administrative period by enhancing the quality of human resources."

Sri Mulyani claimed she will engage more with other ministers in the economic field, such as the industry minister, trade minister, and minister of cooperatives and SMEs.
