"We will develop at least 10 apartments and a shopping center, integrated with offices and residential areas," the chief commissary of PT Sirius Surya Sentosa, Agnus Suryadi, said in West Cikarang, Tuesday.
He added that the construction works would be completed in 2026. At least 20 thousand homes would be available at the "Mini Tokyo" in Bekasi District.
Meanwhile, the company's sales and trade director, Ming Liang, said that the residential and commercial areas would be designed using Japanese architecture. At the "Mini Tokyo", the companies would also invite Japanese restaurants to rent out the place.
"Our target market is mainly Japan's expatriates who work here at MM 2100," Liang noted.
Until now, the MM 2100 industrial park had facilitated around 4,000 national and multinational companies with around 22 thousand workers, of which 62 percent are Japanese nationals.
"Some 60 percent of the companies operating at the MM 2100 industrial park are Japanese firms," he reaffirmed.
