"Apart from that, we also pay attention to the development of 3A aspects (attractions, accessibility, and amenities) especially in the five Super Priority Destinations (DSP)," the minister said in a statement here on Saturday.
Next year, tourism development is expected to boost economic recovery, he remarked.
"The program in the future will focus on restoring tourism, especially developing five priority destinations, namely Lake Toba, Borobudur, Mandalika, Labuan Bajo, and Likupang," said the Menparekraf.
Besides, the government will also intensify the implementation of 2Ps, namely tourism promotion and participation of private business actors.
The ministry will also use a storynomics tourism approach that prioritizes narrative, creative content, living culture, and cultural strengths, as well as the public private partnership (PPP) schemes in building entertainment centers, such as theme parks that will attract many tourists.
According to him, tourism development is not just building infrastructure or creating events, as there is also an important thing, namely increasing the interpretation of a tourism place or destination.
"Storynomics tourism, for example, is a tourism approach formula that prioritizes narrative, creative content, and cultural life, as well as using cultural strengths as destination DNA," said the Minister of Tourism.
Packaging the beauty of Indonesian tourism in one story is important in the tourism sector development plan, especially in the five super priority tourism destinations in 2021.
Through the strategy, it is hoped that they can provide a broader picture of the interesting stories behind these super priority tourist destinations.
President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in his introductory speech to financial notes at the MPR / DPR Building on August 14, 2020, said that tourism development in 2021 is aimed at promoting economic recovery.
