The police seized five packages of hashish weighing 50 grams and three rolls of hashish weighing 10 grams from the suspect.
Semarang, C Java (ANTARA) - The Central Java Provincial Police apprehended two students on charges of trafficking hashish around the Semarang State University (Unnes) campus in Semarang City.

The police also seized hundreds of grams of hashish packed and rolled in the shape of cigarettes, Director of the Narcotics Detective Unit of the Central Java Provincial Police Senior Commissioner Agung Prasetyoko stated here on Tuesday.

Of the two students, one with the initials MR, was from Japara District, while the other RL hailed from Grobogan District, Central Java.

The police successfully uncovered the case after arresting MR in front of the Unnes campus' entrance in Gunungpati, Semarang, he revealed.

"The police seized from the suspect five packages of hashish weighing 50 grams and three rolls of hashish weighing 10 grams," he stated.

During further investigation, the police also arrested RL suspected of supplying the hashish.

The police seized hashish stored in a jar while conducting a search of his rented room, he remarked.

The police seized 435 grams of hashish from the suspects.
