Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) installed 17 members of the Indonesian Medical Council (KKI) for the 2020-2025 period at the State Palace here on Wednesday (Aug 19).

The appointment of the members of KKI aligned with Presidential Decree Number 55/M of 2020 on Dismissal and Appointment of the Indonesian Medical Council, dated August 11, 2020.

The council comprises 17 members: Dr. Putu Moda Arsana, Sp.PD.KEMD, FINASIM, Dr. Dollar, SH., MH, Dr. Nurdjamil Sayuti, MARS., Dr Nadhyanto, Sp.Pros., Dr. Pattiselanno Robert Johan, MARS, Dr. Achmad Syukrul A, .M.M., Prof. Dr. Bachtiar Murtala, Sp. Rad (K)., Dr. Andriani, Sp.Ort., F.I.C.D., Dr. Vonny Naouva Tubagus, MD., Radiologist, Dr. Ni Nyoman Mahartini, Sp. PK (K), Dr. Mohammad Agus Samsudin M.M, Dr. Hisyam Said., M.Sc., Prof. Intan Ahmaf Musmeinan, Ph.D., Prof. Dr. Taruna Ikrar, M. Biomed., Ph.D, Dr. Sri Rahayu Mustikowati, M.Kes., CFrA., Prof. Dr. Melanie Hendriaty Sadono, M. Biomed., PBO, and Dr. Hj. Mariatul Fadilah, MARS., Ph.D.

After taking the pledge, President Jokowi, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin, and a limited number of invited guests congratulated KKI members while maintaining a safe required distance and without shaking hands. Earlier, Jokowi had installed nine members of the National Police Commission (Kompolnas) for the 2020-2024 term.

Appointment of the nine Kompolnas members is in accordance with Presidential Decree (Keppres) No. 54/M of 2020 on Dismissal and Appointment of Membership of the Indonesian National Police Commission, dated August 11, 2020.
