The owner of the house heard something falling in his bathing room. After he checked it, it turned out to be a python.
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Firefighters were successful in getting hold of a two-meter-long python found in a bathing room of a house in Kebagusan area, South Jakarta

The house owner reported that a python fell into his bathing room on Thursday night, spokesman for the South Jakarta Fire Department Sartono noted on Friday.

"The owner of the house heard something falling in his bathing room. After he checked it, it turned out to be a python," he noted.

To remove the python, the house’s owner, identified as Erwin, urged his neighbor to contact the South Jakarta Fire Department, he remarked.

It was not until 11:35 p.m. local time on Thursday that three personnel of the Pasar Minggu Fire Department on two motorcycles arrived at the house located on Kebagusan Besar III Street No 34 RT 006, RW 06, Kebagusan, Pasar Minggu to remove the python.

"By 11:45 p.m. local time, the python was removed," he stated.

The python will later be handed over to the reptile care community in Jakarta.
