Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia witnessed the addition of 3,874 cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the total tally of infections to 275,213 as of Sunday, according to the country's Task Force for COVID-19 Response.

With 3,611 people recovering from COVID-19, the total recoveries stood at 203,014, the task force said.

The death toll reached 10,386, with 78 people succumbing to the disease within the last 24 hours.

Jakarta recorded the highest number of new cases with 1.217, taking the total tally in the capital city to 70,441. This was followed by West Java with 437 to 20,954 and Central Java with 258 to 21,626.

Four provinces reported no new cases in the past 24 hours. They are Bangka Belitung, Central Sulawesi, North Maluku and Maluku.

The task force also recorded 129,553 suspected COVID-19 cases.

By Sunday, the COVID-19 has spread to 497 districts and cities in the country's 34 provinces.
