Alongside the construction of these hotels, facilities for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) will also be built at the airport area.
The agreement was signed at the West Java Investment Summit (WIJS) 2020 event held at the Savoy Bidakara Hotel in Bandung City and directly witnessed by West Java Governor M. Ridwan Kamil.
In accordance with the cooperation agreement, Jaswita Jabar, BIJB, and Bank BJB are committed to building supporting facilities for the airport -- a three-star hotel -- with an investment of Rp661.9 billion.
President Director of Jaswita Jabar, Deni Nurdyana Hadimin, stated on Tuesday that the signing of the cooperation agreement was one of Jaswita Jabar's commitments to contributing to infrastructure development, particularly those related to the tourism industry in West Java.
"Construction of a three-star hotel in the West Java International Airport area has been part of our commitments since a long time," Hadimin noted.
Furthermore, Jaswita Jabar's cooperation with BIJB is also in line with the enthusiasm mirrored through the theme of the 2020 West Java Investment Summit -- "Invest in West Java for better future: life, work and play".
Moreover, under the agreement, BIJB will allot land for building hotels and MICE facilities, while Jaswita Jabar will function as the developer, with financial support from Bank BJB and some private investors.
