In general, realization of the 2020 SBSN is quite satisfying, and we commend the implementing partners of the SBSN project for their performance achievements in 2020
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The realization of State Sharia Securities (SBSN) for project financing throughout 2020 reached 90.96 percent, Director General of Financing and Risk Management of the Ministry of Finance Luky Alfriman stated.

"In general, realization of the 2020 SBSN is quite satisfying, and we commend the implementing partners of the SBSN project for their performance achievements in 2020," he noted at the 2021 SBSN Infrastructure Project Financing Policy Forum in Jakarta, Wednesday.

Alfriman stated that the initial value of the 2020 SBSN financing reached Rp32.48 trillion, including the list of project priorities, at Rp27.35 trillion, and continuation of the 2019 SBSN, at Rp5.13 trillion.

On the other hand, he said that along with the budget refocusing policy owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, there were Ministries/Institutions (K/L) that ultimately suggested to cut the allocation for the 2020 SBSN project.

Hence, allocation for the SBSN project after refocusing the 2020 budget turned out to be Rp18.16 trillion.

According to Alfriman, realization of the SBSN project, which had reached 90.96 percent, was satisfactory, but several aspects yet had to be streamlined in managing the performance of the SBSN project.

"Of course, it will be our concern and evaluation along with the things that are good to be maintained and those that are still not good and we can improve them," he stated.

Alfriman elaborated that realization of the 2020 SBSN project comprised the Ministry of The Public Works and Housing (PUPR), at 94.49 percent; the Ministry of Transportation, 91.98 percent; and the Ministry of Religion, 90.51 percent.

Others comprise the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, at 85.74 percent; Ministry of Education and Culture, 85.14 percent; the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI), 59.11 percent; Indonesia's National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN), 44.86 percent; and the National Standardization Agency for Indonesia (BSN), 99.34 percent.

"It does not stop there because many things should be improved in increasing the performance of this SBSN project," Alfriman stated.
