Cikarang, Bekasi (ANTARA) - The National Police's Anti-Terror Squad Densus 88 conducted a search of the house of a suspected terrorist in Sukasari Village, Serang Baru Sub-district, Bekasi District, West Java, on Monday.

"Not yet. We are still waiting for Mr Chief of the National Police for a while," Chief of the Public Relations Section at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Senior Commissioner Yusri Yunus stated on Monday.

The Police and Densus 88 personnel, equipped with firearms, secured the scene. They stood behind the red line indicating that the site was cordoned off, according to an Antara journalist's observation.

Yunus chose to withhold details about a possible link between the search and the suicide bomb attack outside Cathedral Church in Makassar, capital of South Sulawesi province, on Sunday.

The bomb exploded at 10:30 a.m. local time on Sunday at the entrance gate of the church, allegedly killing two suicide bombers and injuring 14 people.

The explosion occurred after churchgoers had just completed the Sunday Palm services.
