The ministry will work with national television TVRI to provide materials for the isbat session for the mass media, he added. Media channels wishing to broadcast the isbat session will need to coordinate with TVRI, which will serve as the TV Pool, he continued.

Meanwhile, director of Islamic religious affairs and sharia guidance at the ministry, Agus Salim, said the isbat session would be held in three stages.
The first stage, which will start at 5 p.m. local time, will explain the position of the early hilal of Zulhijah 1442 H, he informed. Member of the Hijri Calendar Unification Team of the ministry, Thomas Djamaluddin, will make a presentation during this stage, he added.
The second stage of the isbat session, which will start after the Maghrib prayer, will be chaired by the religious minister and will discuss reports on reckoning data and the results of rukyatul hilal (visual observation of a new moon) from several parts of Indonesia, he said.
"In the third stage, the religious minister will announce the results of the isbat session via teleconference and (this will also be) broadcast live by TVRI as the TV Pool and live-streamed on the ministry's social media," he added.
