President Director of PT IPC Container Terminal Wahyu Hardiyanto noted that the waiver on loading and unloading fees at the 219X field in the TPK IPC Support Terminal area, North Jakarta, was in accordance with IPC's commitment to consistently conduct humanitarian actions during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially through the distribution of medical oxygen supplies.
"As long as the pandemic is ongoing, we will continue to proactively provide convenience by enforcing service fee waivers, especially for loading and unloading of medical oxygen ISO tanks at the TPK IPC Support Terminal Area," Hardiyanto noted in a written statement, Saturday.
Hardiyanto noted that in early July, the IPC Container Terminal had also waived the handling fee for loading and unloading six ISO tanks containing 20 cubic feet of medical oxygen unloaded at the Tanjung Priok 1 IPC TPK area.

Indonesian National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo lauded Tanjung Priok Port for facilitating the loading and unloading of 10 ISO tanks containing 21 thousand liters of liquid oxygen at the 219X field, North Jakarta, Friday.
"Thank you to the port operator and the Tax Office for helping us, so that the ISO Tank distribution could be conducted immediately," Prabowo noted during a press conference at the 219X field of Tanjung Priok Port, North Jakarta.
The National Police Chief noted that the 10 ISO tanks were ordered from China to meet the oxygen demand at COVID-19 handling hospitals.
Reflecting on existing experience, the rate of transmission of COVID-19 in Indonesia had spiked in July 2021, thereby resulting in limited oxygen services at hospitals, he expounded.
Prabowo affirmed that the National Police was keen to ensure oxygen requirements were met at hospitals at all times. Hence, the provision of ISO tanks is expected to facilitate the mobilization of medical oxygen from factories to hospitals and oxygen refilling stations.
General Prabowo, accompanied by IPC President Director Arif Suhartono, TPK IPC President Director Wahyu Hardiyanto, and Tanjung Priok Branch General Manager IPC Guna Mulyadi, directly inspected the ISO medical oxygen tanks at the Tanjung Priok Port.
A total of 10 ISO tanks of 20 cubic feet of medical oxygen were dismantled at the terminal since August 15, 2021.
