Through this memorandum of understanding (MoU), Kominfo is committed to providing technical support through the utilization of information technology in developing and implementing SP4N LAPOR!Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) Ministry remains committed to bolstering the National Public Service Complaint Management System-The People's Online Complaint and Aspiration Service or SP4N LAPOR! by utilizing information technology and reinforcing public communication.
"Through this memorandum of understanding (MoU), Kominfo is committed to providing technical support through the utilization of information technology in developing and implementing SP4N LAPOR!" Minister Johnny G. Plate stated during the SP4N LAPOR! virtual MoU signing event, as quoted from the press statement on Friday.
The ministry has highlighted the management of personal data and security system in SP4N LAPOR!.
In addition, it has pledged to boost public communication through synergy with ministries, institutions, and regional government in order to raise the people's awareness, understanding, and participation in using SP4N LAPOR! as an integrated electronic-based public service application.
SP4N LAPOR! is a one-way public service-complaint application that has been nationally integrated since 2015.
According to President Regulation No. 95 of 2018 on Electronic-based Government System (SPBE), SP4N LAPOR! is currently a part of SPBE.
"The aim of this electronic-based public complaint service is to improve the speed, transparency, and accountability of public service," Plate remarked.
The ministry assessed that the SP4N LAPOR! aim to accelerate SPBE's application and has been supporting the system's development since 2020.
"We will continue to do so. The memorandum of understanding signed today aims to strengthen cooperation between government institutions," Plate asserted.
In the MoU signing in 2016, SP4N LAPOR! had involved the Ministry of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform, Presidential Staff Office (KSP), and Ombudsman.
This year, the MoU also involved the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Communication and Informatics.
