"Members and prospective members of IMI have the convenience and privilege of the Affinity Credit Card and BNI Affinity Debit Card, as well as the BNI TapCash Card, issued specifically for IMI," BNI President Director Royke Tumilaar noted in a statement received on Saturday.
Tumilaar emphasized that digital transformation was being accelerated by the company, including through updating BNI's mobile banking for simplifying transactions for BNI Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and Tapcash Cards.
“Currently, our mobile banking has 9.8 million users. Through mobile banking, customers can apply for a credit card and open a savings account directly or online. Transactions to billing sheets are also available through mobile banking," he remarked.
Meanwhile, BNI Director of Consumer Business Corina Leyla Karnalies stated that the BNI-IMI Affinity Credit Card in future will become a special product that comes equipped with a special card design of the IMI logo.
BNI-IMI Affinity Credit Cards can be owned by IMI members, both existing and prospective.
"BNI-IMI Affinity Credit Card holders will enjoy convenience and benefits of transacting on various payment channels with various features," Karnalies noted.
Karnalies believes such convenience and benefits comprise Triple BNI Rewards Points and zero-percent installments for up to 12 months for transactions at select automotive merchants and other attractive promo programs, such as discounts, cashback, and zero-percent installments at merchants that collaborated with BNI.
Regarding the BNI-IMI Affinity Debit Card, the benefits can be obtained from transactions anywhere through mobile banking, several merchants, and also including e-commerce merchants.
BNI-IMI Affinity Debit Card customers that transact will also receive BNI Poin+ rewards that can be exchanged for shopping e-vouchers and for participating in auctions and games, as well as can be exchanged for coupons to participate in the raffle, with the main prize of two Tesla cars. BNI will also issue BNI electronic money or BNI TapCash Cards-IMI.
